Pickler, who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, went through a difficult childhood. At the age of two the mother of her fled from an unfaithful relationship. Pickler's mother returned in 1995 back to her home and was given full control of her. But it didn't work out as planned. Pickler's grandparents raised her from the age of 12 until adulthood. Pickler needed to look after of her siblings without her parents. In absence of parents, Pickler was too busy to attend school. In the meantime, she began to teach herself how to care for her family members at a younger time. Pickler was a member of the teams for cheerleading in both high school and middle school. North Stanly High School, which she attended from 2004 when she graduated is her school of choice. Pickler also tried her hand at being a beauty queen. The title she was given is Miss Stanly.
